DIY Window Tint Kit for Model 3

I've been a customer since 2019 when I ordered a chrome delete wrap from them. Their customer service is top notch. Now that they have custom cut window tints, I'll never have to pay $$$ for a tint installation. Well, maybe for a windshield tint because that is hard af to do. The tint film that they use has good heat rejection, although it's lighter in shade compared to Madico Wincos. But overall, it's good. I can't recommend them enough!

Alright, straight talk! This wrap job will test you! Vinyl is not a forgiving material so you do need to be careful with it. Heat is great, but you need to be careful with it as it will tear a hole in the vinyl fast! The cybertruck is not incredibly difficult. For a first time wrap job, it has it challenges. It’s not perfect by any means. I have some areas that have fingers or dust specs underneath, but hey, thats the price you pay for an amateur job. It’s worth saving $5000. I had a major mess up on the hood, but I ordered a replacement so thats not really a huge problem. Once you get the hang of it, the process goes smooth and fast. Word to the wise, this is a 12 HOUR project. It doesnt seem that way, but it is. Im a huge DIY guy, so if you’re in the same boat, do it! It’s worth it. If you have a hard time boiling water on th stove, stay away. Great product, great quality, and excellent customer service!

I'm the type of person that will DIY everything I can including tinting. I already have a heat gun so i only bought the tints along with the kit that included everything I needed to get the job done. The spray bottle is pretty nice. I assumed to fill the bottle for 1 slip packet.

Never have done any tinting before, shrinking the tint was by far the most difficult part. The rear windows curve in 2 different ways adding that extra complexity. The tint shrunk like it should've and adhered great to the windows. Its definitely possible with enough patience and time. Outside and heat gun temperature are the most important parts. Overall I'm extremely happy with how everything turned out.
