    What's The Difference?

    The main difference between Avery Dennison PPF and our Boring PPF comes down to material refinement, long-term durability, and warranty coverage. Avery Dennison Invincible is our premium option. It offers higher optical clarity, stronger self-healing properties, and better resistance to yellowing and staining over time. It also carries a longer 7 year warranty. Visually, it tends to look a bit smoother and more seamless on the paint.

    Boring PPF is our in-house film and is a great value option. It still provides excellent protection against rock chips and everyday wear, but has slightly less refinement and carries a 5 year warranty. If you’re looking for the most premium finish and longest coverage, Avery is the upgrade. If you want strong protection at a more budget-friendly price, Boring PPF performs very well.

        What's a practice kit?

        Our Practice Kit includes everything you need to try it out. It includes the solutions, smaller bottles, squeegee and practice pieces to get a feel for the kit before spending the big bucks. On top of that, we send you a credit towards the purchase of your DIY Kit if you end up purchasing!

        Can I install PPF over ceramic coating?

        Unfortunately, PPF will not adhere to ceramic coating. We do not recommend installing if you already have a ceramic coat.

        Do I have to disassemble parts of the car to apply the wrap?

        Not at all! Our kit was carefully designed to fit without removing anything or having to use a knife on the car.

        How long does PPF last?

        We use Avery Supreme Defense PPF that is rated for 10 years of durability. The film will not yellow or crack over time.

        Do I need prior experience with PPF?

        Nope! We designed this kit for the average Joe. We include everything you need to learn as you go.

        How long does it take to install?

        This can depend on the person, but we estimate it will take 8-12 hours if installed alone. 

        What’s the difference between your kit and other PPF kits?

        We include in-depth courses that walk you through the installation process. Other kits require prior PPF knowledge, while ours is completely beginner-friendly.

        Can I put ceramic coating over PPF?

        Absolutely. There are many ceramic coatings that are specifically for PPF which will make the car even easier to keep clean!
