The kit will save you a lot of money, while looking seamless, if you are willing to put in the time to watch the training videos and practice patience while installing. It took me five days when counting the car prep and working when I could. Start with the easier pieces to work up the experience to tackle the more difficult ones (rear bumpers and front bumper). It is much easier and you will get better results if you have someone help you stretch and hold difficult sections. The extra mirror practice pieces is an amazing addition, I did not think I would need to replace them as stated in the intro video. However, in the end I did redo them and could see the improvements in technique I had gained in tackling the more challenging steps. I'm not sure if it was just my experience, but keep an eye on the lettering printed on the spray bottles, the ink broke down after exposure to IPA and I had a few instances where blue flecks transferred onto the PPF (luckily on the exterior).

I recently purchased a front PPF kit from DIY Wrap Club for my brand new 2026 Tesla Model Y Juniper, just to test it out—and I’m really glad I did. After completing the installation, I was so impressed with the quality that I went ahead and ordered PPF for the rest of my car.

The kit was perfect! Everything you need and fast delivery! This was my first time installing PPF so I split installation into two days. I would recommend watching the video for each area just prior to installing it for a reminder. There were a couple details I didn’t realize I missed and being able to follow along while installing was a big help. I think it will only get easier with the new cameras that will be able to show seams and other fine details. My final product is nowhere close to what Ji does, but my car will is protected and the couple of hairs and the minor misalignments aren’t noticeable except to me. I am very pleased with TESBROS/DIY Wrap Club and definitely recommend them. Just go slow and be patient. Based on the product, videos, and overall experience I am considering wrapping the rest of the car! I look forward to being a return customer!!

Ordered the full car PPF for the 2026 model Y premium. Went with the gloss kit without the trim removal. This kit still requires a trim loosening on the back hatch but very simple. The DIY instructions are very simple to follow, do recommend having someone help with the front bumper and rear quarter panels as there is some stretching required. It can be done alone but you will want to stretch it a few times after the panel is anchored in the first spot. After a couple times stretching a piece it becomes easier to stretch. Use lots of slip under the piece but try to limit slip on the outside while stretching as it becomes slippery.

The best advice I can give after spending 2 days installing the full PPF kit is to pay attention to the edges. Go back over all edges when you are done. Make sure you didn’t miss any edges or seems with tack. If you see an edge not sealing, spray some tack on it and wait an hour before trying to seal it.

Over all I highly recommend the kit. Patience is key to making sure things go right. I did see a few bubbles after a couple days and will let it sit for a couple weeks before doing anything. If they remain I will get a small syringe to remove the bubbles.
