Tesla Protection
Our Taillight Protection PPF Kit effectively guards against damages from everyday use, ensuring the longevity of your taillights. The vented design allows for condensation evaporation and does not affect the touch-to-open feature on the charge port.
Unfortunately, PPF will not adhere to ceramic coating. We do not recommend installing if you already have a ceramic coat.
We highly recommend waiting at least 24 hours before driving. This ensures your PPF has had time to adhere fully so water and debris can’t get under the surface.
PPF is best installed in temperatures between 65 and 75 degrees F. If it’s too cold, it may feel stiffer. If it’s too hot, it’ll stretch more.
If it’s a small finger, the easiest way to push it down is to use your tack solution and then push it down with your squeegee. If it persists, wrap your squeegee with microfiber and squeegee it down. The microfiber will absorb the water, making it tackier.
If it is larger than a nickel, you want to lift the PPF and squeegee it down again. If it’s smaller than a nickel, it should dissipate and evaporate within time.
We recommend waiting at least 24 hours but 48 hours to be safe.
Yes, everything you need is provided in the kits. All you’ll need to add is water to the slip and tack bottles.
No, our kits come pre-cut to make installation easier for you!
You can, but please be extremely careful. You want to be careful around all the edges. If you directly point the spray gun near the edge, it may remove the film. Don’t directly spray on the edges, and you’ll be fine.
PPF is easier to adjust since it is a wet install compared to vinyl which is a dry install. If you do make a mistake, reach out to us, and we can send you a replacement at cost.
Our film is rated for 10 years.
Absolutely. There are many ceramic coatings that are specifically for PPF which will make the car even easier to keep clean!
Most customers install this themselves. We recommend watching the how to video to ensure correct usage.

Transformed!! I really wanted to stand out from all the other white model 3s, so I ordered the pillar delete. Everything was pre-cut to fit. This was my first time applying and I couldn't be more happier with the results. The kit came with all the tools needed. Excellent product and excellent service with Tesbros!

Step-by-Step Installation Guide
Purchased this to protect my new taillights. Had my ppf installer do it and it came out just as good as the regular ppf on the car. So glad that I found this as my ppf installer didn’t have a way to protect the taillights. Very reasonable price as well. Thank Tesbros!
I would have liked the option to change the material of the full body kit to this to make my kit better.
I purchased a full PPF wrap for my Model Y Juniper right after it became available, and the original kit did not contain the side taillight PPF. I made TESBROS aware of my situation and they sent me a complete taillight PPF protection kit. The side taillight PPF went on extremely easy. I can't say the same for the other taillight PPF, at least for the butt joints. Since there is not an EXACT alignment for the top sections of the PPF, the butt joint can occur at slightly different positions. In my case, the joint was right on the part of the taillight that had a small radius, which made it more difficult to make the butt joint. In my case, by trying to not have a large gap when applying the bottom PPF, I ended up with the slightest overlap in a few places which causes slight bright spots.
When I got the side taillight PPF, I ended up with the rear taillight PPF too, so I can replace the taillight PPF when I get around to it. Applying the rear taillight PPF was more difficult than expected and I was in a hurry, so that is why I think I had a problem when the butt joint was in a more difficult position. The lower piece of PPF making up the butt joint always wanted to lift up, making it more difficult to tell when that PPF was in the exact right position. Now, I knew that the front bumper PPF was going to be hard to install so I had help and plenty of time to get it right, so even though the front bumper was challenging, I was able to keep my cool and get it right. In the end I…
