Every Cybertruck Trim You Can Buy Right Now

Three trims, one wild silhouette. Here's how the AWD, Premium AWD, and Cyberbeast actually differ — and which one fits your driveway.

The Cybertruck lineup looks nothing like it did at launch. After a big shake-up in early 2026 — a cheaper base truck added, the old base renamed, and the range-topper slashed by tens of thousands — Tesla now sells the Cybertruck in three trims. They share the same stainless exoskeleton, 123 kWh 800-volt battery, four-wheel steer-by-wire, and ~325-mile ballpark range. What separates them is power, suspension, towing, and how loaded the cabin is.

Here's the money view before we dig in:

$69,990 Dual motor · ~600 hp · 0–60 in 4.1 s · 325 mi range
Tesla Cybertruck AWD

Added in early 2026 as the affordable way into a Cybertruck, the AWD is the honest work truck of the range. You still get dual-motor all-wheel drive, roughly 600 hp, and a genuinely quick 4.1-second 0–60 — but Tesla trimmed the luxuries to hit the price. It rides on coil springs with adaptive damping instead of air suspension, rolls on 18-inch wheels (20s optional, no all-terrain option), and skips the ventilated seats, rear screen, and premium 15-speaker audio.

The bigger asterisks are capability: towing drops to 7,500 lbs and payload to 2,006 lbs — still truck numbers, just not range-topping ones. You keep the bed outlets (2× 120V + 1× 240V) but lose the two in-cabin 120V outlets.

Cybertruck Premium AWD

$79,990 Dual motor · ~600 hp · 0–60 in 4.1 s · 325 mi range
Tesla Cybertruck Premium AWD

This is the truck the AWD used to be before Tesla split the lineup — now positioned as the loaded dual-motor. Performance is identical to the base AWD (same ~600 hp, same 4.1-second sprint, same 325-mile range), so the extra $10,000 buys capability and comfort, not speed.

You step up to adaptive air suspension, standard 20-inch wheels with an all-terrain option, ventilated premium seats, a 15-speaker audio system, a second-row 9.4-inch display, full-length bed lighting, and the underbed gear locker. Towing returns to the full 11,000 lbs and payload to 2,500 lbs, and you get in-cabin 120V outlets on top of the bed outlets.

Cyberbeast

Tesla Cybertruck Cyberbeast
Cyberbeast — three motors, supercar acceleration, full-size truck. Image credit: Tesla

The Cyberbeast is the halo trim, and it got dramatically more attainable in 2026 after Tesla cut its price by tens of thousands (it once sat above $115K). Under the skin it swaps to a tri-motor setup — two motors at the rear — for 800+ hp and a 2.6-second 0–60, which is genuinely supercar territory for a truck that can tow 11,000 lbs.

It carries all the Premium AWD equipment (air suspension, ventilated seats, 15-speaker audio, rear display, full outlet set) plus Cyberbeast-specific wheels and badging. The trade-off for the extra motor is a slightly shorter EPA range (~301–320 miles) and marginally higher energy use. Note the earlier free-Supercharging "Luxe" perk was dropped in the price restructuring.

So which Cybertruck is right for you?

Buy the AWD if…

$69,990 · the pragmatist's pick

You want the cheapest way into the truck and you care more about owning a Cybertruck than maxing out its spec sheet. It's ideal if your towing needs stay under 7,500 lbs, you don't need air suspension or a plush cabin, and you'd rather put the $10K–$30K difference toward accessories, solar, or a home charger. The classic daily-driver-plus-occasional-hauler choice.

Buy the Premium AWD if…

$79,990 · the do-everything sweet spot

You want the full Cybertruck experience without paying flagship money. Same acceleration as the base, but you get max towing and payload, air suspension, the all-terrain wheel option, and the nicer interior. This is the best all-rounder — right for real truck work, families, road-trippers, and anyone who wants overlanding/off-road capability. For most buyers, this is the one to get.

Buy the Cyberbeast if…

$99,990 · the enthusiast's flagship

You want the fastest, most-loaded truck on the road and the bragging rights that come with a 2.6-second 0–60. You keep full towing capability, so it's not just a toy — but you're paying $20K over Premium for the third motor and the badge, and giving up a little range. For performance junkies and buyers who want the top of the lineup, nothing else scratches the itch.

Bottom line: The Premium AWD is the pick for most people — it's the fully-capable truck without flagship pricing. Go AWD to save money or bankroll upgrades, and step up to the Cyberbeast only if outright speed and top-trim status are the point.
