Because that’s the thing, the filter replacement will help but the root cause of the smell is in the evaporator. Our kit comes with all the tools needed to clean your evaporator and clean your filter. That way you can go 0-60 in your Tesla without smelling like dirty socks.
With a HEPA filter, it’s recommended to replace it every 1-2 years. If you experience a dirty sock smell, that’s when you should replace it.

Really glad I did it myself. DIY costs less than half of service and you have the chance to clean the coils as well. Love Tesla service but this is a job you can do at home. Quality product, got here quickly and fit was great. Would appreciate better photos in instructions.
Overall, I found it rather easy to use the kit from Tesbros. Not wanting to spend what Tesla charges, I thought I would do it myself. Instructions were easy to understand, the cleaner was simple to use and apply, and the filters were a breeze to replace. The car should be stink free for another 2 years.
